Introduction of Wangling TP:

Wangling TP is a unique high-frequency thermoplastic material used in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards(PCBs). It stands out in the industry due to its exceptional dielectric performance and high reliability. The TP-type laminates consist of a dielectric layer comprising ceramics and polyphenylene Oxide resin (PPO), without fiberglass reinforcement. By adjusting the ratio between ceramics and PPO resin, the dielectric constant can be precisely controlled. There are three variations of TP material: TP,TP-1, and TP-2. TP refers to the smooth surface material without copper cladding, TP-1 has copper cladding on one side, and TP-2 has copper cladding on both sides.

 

Features

1) Flexible Dielectric Constant:

Wangling TP offers a range of dielectric constants from 3 to 25, allowing engineers to choose the optimal value based on circuit requirements. The dielectric constant is stable and can be precisely adjusted. Common dielectric constants available include 3.0, 4.4, 6.0, 6.15, 9.2, 9.6, 10.2, 11, 16, and 20. The material exhibits low dielectric loss, with only a minor increase as the frequency exceeds 10 GHz.

 

2) Wide Temperature Range:

The TP material PCB can withstand long-term operating temperatures ranging from -100°C to +150°C. It excels in low-temperature resistance and maintains excellent performance even under extreme conditions. However, care should be taken to avoid exceeding 180°C, as the material may deform, the copper foil may peel off, and there may be noticeable changes in electrical performance.

 

3) Customizable Thickness:

Wangling TP300 PCBs are available in various thicknesses, starting from the thinnest option of 0.5mm. This flexibility allows for customization based on specific project requirements.

 

4) Radiation Resistance and Low Outgassing:
